This volume deals with the  55 species belonging to 17 genera, 2 families or subfamilies in Corallinales.  Among of them one species is new to China.   The book provides the mophological and structural description, locality, habits and distribution to each species. There are 106 figures or microphotograph, 5 color plates  and index.  The text is written in Chinese with English illustrations and English key to sepcies and genera.
本书记述了我国海产红藻门红藻纲真红藻亚纲中的1个目- 珊瑚藻目，内有2科，6个亚科，17属55种，其中有1种是我国发现的新的分类单元。每种都有形态和构造描述、产地、习性和分布，并附有根据本国标本绘制的线图及显微照相构造图106幅。本书有种的外形图版5面，以及国内外主要参考文献和索引。
